Default VHT NightShade Removal

Hey team,

wondering if anyone has any advice on removing VHT spray tint without damaging the tail lights? My partner applied some to her GS and it needs to be removed to stay under a mechanical warranty.. I’ve been looking at non-chlorinated brake cleaner but would ideally use that as a last resort.. any help will be massively appreciated! I am based in New Zealand so branding may be different to suggested products..

I don't know, try rubbing alcohol first and work your way up. If you can't remove chemically without damage to the plastic you'll have to sand it off then polish.

not sure if this is how you reply or not but yeah, took alot of searching to find some non chlorinated brake cleaner here in NZ, picking it up today thankfully, they’re letting me just have it as I don’t have a trade account 😂🙏🏽

Not Non-chlorinated brake cleaner, normal stuff is as common as day here but alot stronger to the point where it will eat at the plastic is all!
