Default Ever Seen a Honda Beat?

I was at a local car show yesterday. I saw a car that looked just like this (same bright yellow color), and I had to look it up because I had never seen one or even heard if it before.

I learned something new!

These early '90s Beats show up on BaT with some frequency and typically sell for around $7500 there.

I remember reading about these back in the 90s. Kind of a cool, little, mid-engined car to play around with.

Around the same time, Toyota had the Sera. It wasn't a kei car like the Beat, but I remember reading about it at the same time and wishing they would bring it here. It had butterfly doors!

My cousin has spent a lot of years in Japan and is always telling me about the wonderful cars he never sees in the USA, and this is one of them.
