Anyone see Rolls Royce in this design? Looks are subjective but I never like how Rolls Royce look. Somehow the S always looks more flagship sedan to me, even with the new design. It doesn't look as bad as Es.
Totally, its the tall body. It also makes me think of the weird fake Cadillac look of the presidential limousine
That's the worst case of overbite I've ever seen.
Speaking of the front, how is a tall, up and down WALL safer for a ped strike? It would instantly destroy a body. Whereas a low, tapered front (from the 90's) would allow a body to roll up onto the hood, diminishing a solid smack.
I'm very curious to see what the range will be for the i7. In typical BMW fashion it will vary plenty based on trim/equipment but hopefully they kept it comfortably at 300mi+ for the common trims.
This is one car that I really need to see in person at the dealership. Just when I start thinking it's not too bad, I see a new picture from a different angle and it looks ungainly with big front overhang and not so good.
It's exchanging blows with the EQS for that title.
At the very least, I like it more than the EQS. I do think with a refresh to tweak the front and rear ends, this could be stately upright sedan.
It definitely looks less bad than the EQS. I'm sure some will still buy this thing but man it surely got that tittle... I was driving along this one 4matic on freeway and local streets for a good 15 or so minutes. Its front reminds me of a car that I could not think of. Then a few day later one of these
was right behind me with smoked headlight.
