Default My co-workers 2022 C8

Now here's a car that gets a ton of stares. Meet my co-workers 2022 C8. I won't even mentioned what he paid for it, but let's just say that when I was this guys age, I was driving a Toyota Camry. To be more specific, a Base Camry who's only additional feature was AC. Anyway got to ride in it, it's fairly comfortable, and dangerously fast. They say it does 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds, that's only if you use Launch Control, otherwise its about 4 seconds or so off the line with a rolling start. Did I mention it's fast?

Last Sunday it was 60 degrees and i saw 10 new C8s with 30min of leaving my house.

Its an incredible value for the design and performance you get. The interior quality and fit/finish are great as well.

My only complaint is its too big due to the square trunk space and not fan of rear end / taillights.

There is actually nothing practical about this car, in fact the owner only drives it to work once or twice a week. Yes, fit and finish are good but I wouldn't want to use it as a daily. Getting in and out of it is a bit of hassle as well

Same, I was hoping it would grow on me but it hasn't. Still a great everyday supercar

I want to like it, but that first picture is probably the worst angle to shoot the car from. It makes the car look like something fell on the trunk and left a big dent

I agree about the taillights. They’re weird looking on the car.

Other than that, I love the car. I’m not sure if I prefer the design over the C5 and C7 yet.

I'm not very much of a photographer unfortunately. That and it was parked between other cars so it was hard to get a good angle

After riding in this car and driving the LC, I would buy the LC any day over the C8. For me this would be strictly a weekend car. I would be hesitant to take it on trips cause it's so freaking fast I would be getting tickets

Did you drive the C8?

I like the car because of the V8 but waiting on the Z06 with the amazing engine.

The interior of C8 really impressed me and also the fact you can remove the roof. It has a lot of cool tech stuff too, just amazing value for $100k imo. I personally think it works better as a GT car rather then hardcore sports car as its not sharp / direct, driving focused like a 911.

No, did not drive it but got a good feel. LC is way more comfortable, and practical, as practical as a two seater GT (rear seats are a joke in both the LC) can be. C8 is just to flashy for my taste. Transmission is better feeling than the LC though. Super quick crisp shifts

I have not driven C8 but I can’t imagine it being less practical than LC considering it has 2 useable trunks and LC has very shallow one.

The LC is great when equipped with sport options like the rear wheel steering.

The build quality of the LC is on a different level but C8 gives you amazing customization options and obviously has huge aftermarket support.
LC500 will be much rarer though.

surprisingly, the lc trunk (coupe) holds 2 rollaboard bags and other items easily, so it's not terrible.

i have it, and it's combined with VGRS and is amazing. but you can't get these things on the 'vert or the inspiration/bespoke versions as far as i can tell, so it's hard to get (dynamic handling package, was named performance package before).
