Oh boy those are terrible.

Stupid me - I thought the Zeus teasers were for a movie, not a car ad. Might be "too soon" for the Governator to be doing car ads, tho.

The SuperBowl ads have been pretty bad the last 4-5 years.....

Just for the record, a Super Bowl ad this year will cost around $6.5M for 30 seconds....up from some $5.5M last year. That's $13M a minute. For that kind of money, it had better be a good ad. Nevertheless, even with that kind of expense, the ad-slots were supposedly sold out by last September.

The joke is that many of them get released on line in the week leading up to the game [see OP], and don't have the same impact because many people have seen them already. I saw one for Amazon Alexa yesterday with Collin Jost and Scarlett Johansen - not worth $13MM (although maybe the version aired during the game will be shorter, and only cost the $6.5MM....)

Polestar will have a 30 sec commercial during the 1st quarter. Hopefully will peak interest to a wider audience.

Lexus had it’s first Super Bowl commercial in 2012 for the 2013 GS (The Beast).

I hope P* does not pique the general public's interest at all after the ad, I want to remain exclusive and stealth

Gee I wonder if there will be any on line betting site commercials— you hardly see any of those during sorting events.

I may be wrong on this, but I don't think that sports-betting is legal in some states or jurisdictions. How that affects on-line-betting, though (if at all) remains to be seen.

On-line sports betting is legal in more and more places; definitely PA and NJ. The site can tell by your IP address or GPS location if you are physically located in a state where on-line betting is legal. The ads during sports programming are endless--far more than beer ads. Odds are now built into pre-game broadcasts, which are really sponsorships, but seemingly presented as "analysis".

I will happily agree with that. And the BWM was looking absolutely atrocious. A few seconds, I believed it was a crashed car that they installed to tell us some kind of a story, just to realize, it wasn't crashed, it's actually how the car is supposed to look.
