No it will be RWD only with detuned S58 from M3/4.
Manual will be available.

Are they going to do the ipad aids instead of the proper gauges?

If you like the 4GS that much, you should give the current G05 a try. It drives very like the 4GS but a bit faster, doesn't suck as much gas, comes with many new useful tech's and feels safer than the 4GS too.

I think you might be the only person on the internet who likes the XM.

AWD not available, manual transmission standard. Staying a true enthusiast's car.

Per your other question, interior is expected to be similar to the M240i xDrive, seen below:

Yes that is the rumor. So the current setup in the 3series will also go away and it will be idiotic ipad screen for the gauges. This would be a huge deal breaker for me to consider the M2.

Unfortunately this will be going away and all models are slated to go to the iPad screen like in i4/iX models. This change is coming for MY2023 for 2,3,4 series including M models…..

And that's perfectly fine. I actually know a few that are waiting for this. Maybe I'm weird but I also like the 4GS when it first came out... I like the GX when they first changed to new grille... I also like the new LX when it first popped up.... I actually like a lot of new stuff.

I would like to see it in person before making a judgement. I like some of the new BMW front ends....some I don't.

I do indeed really like the G05, but we'd use that to replace the Highlander, which I would love to do but it's my wife's daily and she's not ready to part with it. I have been trying to talk her into an XC90 T8 but she's not ready to trade in the Highlander.

My GS isn't likely going anywhere anytime soon. The only thing I'd consider swapping it out for is a gently used GS F or an LC500.

This is what we have in our kitchen. I never thought the designer was inspired by rangehoods

The rangehood grille looks a lot better.

Back to the glowing grille... it seems BMW isn't satisfied putting it in only one brand.

I might have missed it, but does anyone know if the glowing grill can be turned off?
