i pretty much agree. From windshield to front is WAY too long. It's also like they took cues from the LS500 as well which is also sleek, curvy and long, but not very roomy. No doubt this g90 will be roomy though, especially as they're going to have a lwb version.

but the world has largely moved on from large sedans to suvs with the s-class owning most of that. I very much enjoyed the g90 i had, but missed the ease of loading stuff into and out of an suv and the easier time of getting in and out of the seat.

I don't think it looks as great/stunning like some have claimed. To me, looks inoffensive to me. Styling works better on the mid G80. But this is not bad. This G90 should satisfy the Hyundai Genesis fans/buyers

LS500 looks better IMO.

I doubt the LS500 even existed on public roads when this design was finalized, but the rear quarter window does bear a similarity. Other than that I don't see much of anything in common between the two.

The Koreans will never stop making big executive sedans anytime soon. In fact Hyundai is about to release another brand new version of the Grandeur/Azera which is reportedly even longer than the G80...

Seems like they were just unveiling the last makeover not long ago. Maybe this will drive down prices on the 2019-2021 MY and make some become more available on the used market.

It looks like a Giant Hyundai Sonata to me.

The refresh was MY 2020 and this is MY 2023, so it's a pretty typical schedule.

I actually like all of the wheels except the dish ones. Only Maybachs should have dish wheels. But overall this is looking super promising, can't wait to get a good look at the interior.

Much better! This makes the design language look much better. The proportions of the current G90 don't look right, but this updated version is much better.

GMAuthority liked the new G90 so much they did an article on it as something that would have been a good Cadillac CT6 competitor had the CT6 stayed in production.

The 2023 Genesis G90 was unveiled by the Korean luxury automaker this week, giving us an early preview of the full-size luxury sedan ahead of its arrival in North America next year.

While Genesis is powering ahead with its full-size sedan, General Motors has long since abandoned the segment after prematurely pulling the plug on the Cadillac CT6 program in North America last year. The Cadillac CT6 may no longer be sold or produced in North America, but it remains a part of the luxury brand’s vehicle portfolio in China.

Technical details of the 2023 Genesis G90 remain under wraps, with the automaker only releasing details on its exterior styling. The interior design of the vehicle also remains a secret for now.

Genesis hopes the latest iteration of its flagship model will reshape the luxury sedan segment in all markets it currently operates in.

“G90 will redefine the flagship luxury design experience in a unique way only offered by Genesis.” said Head of Genesis Global Design, SangYup Lee. “G90 is the ultimate expression of Athletic Elegance that carefully balances dynamic driving and an elegant rear seat experience.”

Power in the 2023 Genesis G90 will likely come from the brand’s twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine, which produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque in the 2022 Genesis G80 mid-size sedan. Genesis previously offered a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine in the G90, but rumors indicate this engine will not make the cut for the 2023 model year. All-wheel-drive will likely be offered as an option, with rear-wheel-drive standard.

Genesis says “more information on North American market specifications and deliveries will be available at a later date.”

Genesis is poised to remain one of Cadillac’s fiercest rivals this decade, with the brand mimicking the American automaker’s plan to go all-electric by 2030. It’s already begun implementing this strategy with the recent debut of the GV60 – a battery-electric crossover that will compete with future electric crossover offerings from Cadillac.

The CT6 was never a G90 competitor. It started at below $60K and was meant to be a tweener between midsize/fullsize and focused on driving dynamics to position itself as a 6/8 Series Gran Coupe/Panamera fighter.

What would have been the G90/S-Class/LS competitor was the never-built CT8.

The closest thing Cadillac may actually build to be a G90 competitor is the upcoming Celestiq EV- assuming they don't cancel it at the last minute in typical GM management incompetence.

Saying it would have been a good competitor to the discontinued CT6 is damning with faint praise.
if it turns out to be a 'good competitor' to a Mercedes S class, THAT's saying something.
Obviously there's much we don't know about this G90. G90's to date have not offered air suspension for example. Rumors are this one will but even if it does, it remains to be seen as to how good it is.
Genesis' "RANC" (proprietary noise cancellation tech) was much hyped but in reviews it's been stated as not that effective. If it was awesome i would have been temped by a gv80 because i love a quiet ride.

and obviously, these days all the big news is about EVs. Even if this appears in ICE and EV form it will be severely crippled by having a single platform used for both forms of propulsion.

I think the current/outgoing G90 is closer to the CT6 than it is to the LS500. CT6 cleared 400 horses with a 3.0V6 while the all new G90 3.5 is stuck in the mid/high 300hp range. Then you have the Genesis dealer debacle. The nice thing about the G90 was that it had/has a V8, not quite Lexus 5.0 V8 but it has one. Cadillac Black wing V8 is a step above the G90 and the LS500

Some real world pics. Funny how none of them feature the crazy zigzag wheels from the promo.
