Finally Got My '04 Daytona and Immediate thoughts
Guys, frst and foremost, I'd like too thank everyone who helped me in making a decision on my new car. You really appreciate this board after visiting other boards with ****** who are smart asses, go off topic and don't have the quality of our forum.
Okay now. Man, i picked her up on Sat night and let me tell you something, I have not been able too get this smile off my face. Hot damn, is this car solid and well built. The best part about it the car is bone STOCK and really doesnt need any mods what so ever. Don't get me wrong, this sucker will be modded but it is just gr8 out the factory.
The handling is phenomenal and i now understand why stcik and a sports car are so great. Going through gears is almost orgasmic and being able too take turns and curves with no thinking is breath taking. The '04 seems too have all the fixes from the '03 and i cant say anything bad yet. Sure the stereo section looks a little bland, but I am going too be working on that very soon (7'' monitor in Nav cubby and PS2 and new head unit.) Honestly, i havent really taken her hard yet, but i must say she is quick and torquey. The most important part yet, is she is well balanced, no oversteer/understeer, and growls at the touch of the pedal. More too come soon including pics!
