I think the comparison is silly regardless of who comes out on top. They are very different sorts of vehicles.

Its not that these vehicles don't ride plush, they do, they just are big, heavy and truckish and that makes them tiring to drive around as a daily. I have driven the LX lots of times and its the same way, moreso because the chassis is so old, the Navigator feels lighter and more nimble.

If you're driving straight down a highway all the time, they ride great.

But that's exactly why this comparison doesn't make sense, you have two types of vehicles that are targeted to different uses. The Navigator and Escalade excel in interior volume, straightline highway trips, towing and hauling. The GLS and X7 are much better all around daily/family vehicles.
