That’s what Lexus is to me. Can Lexus make the car emphasize in this blog? Sure! The Camry NASCAR. They built it, competed had some success and now there’re out.
Not really sure the point you were trying to make so I'm unsure this is necessarily relevant, but just FYI, NASCAR and similar racing series like Germany's DTM, Australia's (V8) Supercars, Japan's modern SuperGT GT500 class, etc. are all frame-on-tube type silhouette racers. The frame is just made to look like the cars the manufacturers want to market (hence "silhouette"). There's nothing for TMC to bring to market from that. I think what you're looking for is homologation racing (e.g., VLN / Nürburgring, where the LFA was developed and the IS F and RC F have participated) or WEC (TS040/50 / GR010 etc., although it's a pipe dream for Toyota to ever bring anything meaningful from those to a production car).

As I see it the theme of the thread is to have Lexus complete with the BMW M Series and Mercedes Benz AMG. So IMO they could offer 358 Camry NASCAR motor (or close variant) in the IS or RC or GS. Or Instead of a BMW-esque Supra let’s mimic the 1993 - 1998 Twin Turbo Supra. These are cars I’d like to see memorialize. Being new to the Lexus family (2 weeks) and I’m overjoyed with my choice and with Lexus’ marriage of performance, luxury and reliability. BMW & AMG 👩❤️💋👨 My 🐴

Again, that is not a Toyota motor lol, and a Camry NASCAR is not a Toyota. Its a Chevy 358 NASCAR engine. Not anything you would ever even want in a street car.
If any of you have the opportunity to drive a NASCAR, you should do it. I did it at Charlotte Motor Speedway a long time ago. A life experience for sure.
But Lexus needs to do better than engine swaps and kit cars to compete with AMG/M/RS.
I wasn’t even a little close to insinuating that Lexus should produce a one off Solara Resto Mod that wouldn’t be street legal in every state. Simply stated again, Lexus IMO could compete with BMW & MB by offering their TRD NASCAR motor (or variant) as a STOCK OPTION (not an engine swap) in the IS, RC and GS PRODUCTION cars. So they install the NASCAR V8 into a IS, RC or GS AT THE FACTORY as a STOCK option instead of a less powerful V8 or V6. Which is Nothing close to the RK Motor’s door slammer Toyota Solara. Especially not the Camry shell you’re mentioning. IMO this High Output V8 would up Lexus’ game in the high end high performance sedan market. Also the RK Motors 2010 Camry sold or was selling for $156K. I think you’ll agree with me that the RK car would not help Lexus’ bottom line. Furthermore I think we beat this horse silly.
At this point all I know is I want Toyota to make a factory NASCAR Camry that I can drive on the road complete with fake headlights and a big V8 engine. Make it and they will come!
