I think the Cadillac looks really good. Not sure if the Buick refresh is better. Both definitely look better than Lexus spindle front end.

given your knowledge of branding you would know that it would be a good idea for gm to give its brands more distinct images and features.

Actually, it doesn't look like a Cadillac.....at least not IMO. Cadillac generally does their front and rear ends markedly different from Buick, with more of a vertical than horizontal theme.
