That's a nice looking LX, and I agree about the Nebula Gray Pearl. I had that on my RX and really liked the color. I rarely, if ever, see an LX in NGP.

 

It’s still there and they are emailing and texting me, they want the sale. I told them they’d have to discount it for the rust and they inferred they would.

Thinking about offering flat 35, all they can say is no.

What do you guys think of that offer?

Offered 35 and got a “we paid more than that for it” so I guess that’s that, lol. I don’t care if that’s true or not.

I’m also forgetting that in like 25 days it will be 2021 and prices will drop on these a little bc they’re gonna be older. And I can wait to find a southern one. I don’t want rust underneath even if it doesn’t matter currently. I’ll be keeping this truck until I’m old, no rust please.

 

Lowest they’ll do is $38,5 and $41,400 OTD.

Going to seriously consider this tonight and tomorrow when they’re closed and make decision by Monday.

My guess is that they paid $30K on trade max for it.

 

Just about right on the money if I buy it. I don’t expect any kind of huge “deal” on one of these as they are in high demand.

 

$38.5k is a pretty good price...

 

The simplest thing to have said if they claimed to have paid more than 35K is..."Prove it". Ask for some documentation.

I keep every last piece of paper connected with every vehicle I own at the time for records (unless it contains private or sensitive data).

 

If the current auction prices are that high, then that may be the best you can do. Since Covid and subsequent announcement that Landcruisers will be discontinued in the US, prices have been out of whack. People are paying those prices. Look at the Mud forum to see what high prices people are paying. Pricing on used rigs is up from this time last year.

 

It’s quite possible that they paid more than $35k for it - just look at my prior post about MMR. Here are the last 6 auction sales NATIONALLY. These things bring stupid money!

I found another one where interior looks kind of rough but it was serviced literally every 5k miles at Lexus.

2014 with 78k, asking $37,400 before negotiation.

I don’t like apparent interior condition but someone actually paid all that unnecessary money for those inspections every single 5k just about.

I’m starting to lean toward this one. What do some of you think about the interior pics? I don’t like that there are no Lexus floor mats and driver’s seat looks rough.

This truck looks better to me. You can buy the Lexus mats for $150, and if the drivers seat it can be re-dyed very easily.
