To the OP:

This is common with Michelins, I have the same issue but to a lesser degree. Michelin has factories all over the world, and sometimes the end results are different. The front tires come from a factory in Thailand, the rears from a factory in the US.

My advice - Keep'em

Lou

Probably not as weird as when I am vacuuming my backyard. I have those rubber "eco tiles" that look like pavers, and I am very meticulous about keeping them clean.

Putting the design variation aside, I'd also say keep them. I tried many tire brands over the years, and Michelins are always the best.

I think i'd get a +0 or +1 front size tire to have a flatter/fatter sidewall to more match the back.

So I looked at them and sure enough the rears are made in France and the fronts are made in Thailand. I would think the design would be the same no matter where they were made.

I guess technically they are different designs because of the different tire size. Same brand name tire however. I think Toyota uses these types of tires in some of the cars. Didn’t know there was such a difference.

I’m picky so I would definitely change them out. I would probably go with non-run flats personally.

Ive looked for pictures online, it doesn’t look like the MXM4 has this issue in this size.
