All Lights on
Sometimes changing your gas cap will work for an illuminated Check Engine Light, because the EPA-required sensors for that system detect gas-vapors escaping past a worn or missing gas cap seal. It should also be screwed on properly.....one to three clicks on the twist-grip. Sometimes just tightening it little will also help.
I never liked that system...IMO, it should have had a separate "Check Gas Cap" sensor and bulb instead of being combined with all the other Check Engine functions. But that, of course would have meant more costs in production. And many recent vehicles from Ford and GM use the self-sealing capless system now.
