If I owned one, those wheels alone would convert me to automated car washes LOL.

I like the long and low look.

They are getting a little silly with their wheels. The wheels on the new Palisade Calligraphy are very loud, as are many of the wheel options for the G80.

Winter-testing with the new wheels. With the new 7 Series, S-Class, and this, 2022 is shaping up to be a big year for flagships.

Dropping off more camo:

The auto-levelling range on the air suspension is bonkers.

Bet you it'll outlive the LS500.

It's shaping up to be a looker.

Will be sold in small volumes for sure. Not sure Genesis cares given their home market.

Probably not a popular opinion around here, but I absolutely hate the styling of all of the current generation Genesis models. They all look too heavy and old man looking. I thought the first generation G80 and G70 looked nice.

I have yet to see a Genesis dealer or are they online only. I tried to test drive G80 a few years back and had the painful experience of going into a Hyundai dealer.

These brands put out decent products but their sales and marketing on the ground is really horrendous. Tesla is really good in this regard which I think goes very much unnoticed. Its one thing to have a great product but you need to engage with the consumer to turn sales.

Tesla has no marketing or dealerships. No legacy manufacturer can follow the Tesla model because none of them have Elon as a social media mascot.

Yes, but also, no legacy manufacturer can follow the Tesla mold because a labyrinth of state laws explicly ban them from it. In a few states, Tesla still hasn't been able to do it either. Turns out the car dealer industry, like everybody else, really wants to survive.

And don't dismiss this: The carmakers don't really hate the franchise dealer system in their heart of hearts. While it's not an issue during the current chip shortage, historically it's terribly costly to shut down the production line and crank it up again. Having the dealers as your buying audience means you always have somebody to buy your overproduction, even if at a discount. Rebates don't exist because carmakers can't add. They exist to hit sales and production numbers.

That's the outgoing G90, not the subject of this thread.

Spotted testing with the new Maybach on the Nurburgring. This appears to be a super-long wheelbase variant that's probably KDM only.
