I like the Dark Graphite Metallic on the 7 Series. I seems to fit the car very well. I also like their Mineral White Metallic but on smaller series BMW's. It seems like a lot of white on a big car like the 7. Still a nice color nonetheless. I have the Ivory White interior on our 5 Series and both my wife and I really like it. No issues keeping it clean since we're empty nesters. I wear jeans nearly all of the time and haven't had any issue with color transfer (maybe it's my cheap jeans). I came across this blurb from CR. I don't have a subscription or anything it was just under a general search. Good luck on your final decision.

"With a serene ride, high-tech features that cater to every whim, thoughtful touches in a comfortable and beyond-impeccable cabin, and impenetrable interior silence, the new BMW 7 Series delivers a first-class travel experience. After years of trailing the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the 7 Series has outscored the big Benz in our tests. With weight-saving carbon construction, the BMW is not only quick but also fuel efficient."

I saw it on one in person and I liked it but its very light dependent.

So, I'm considering Dark Graphite Metallic, which is the color of the car I originally posted in here, with a white interior. I'm also considering Mineral White which is a nice pearl white, that would have a mocha interior.

What do you think? I do like light colors, for ease of care.

Dark Graphite:
Get the white, I had a 335 and a 745 in Alpine White - looked great, and never had to worry about dirt and scratches. With the dark graphite metallic you'll have hard time maintaining it.

Also, I dont know why you're saying they dont have a silver, I just checked and they have several lighter shades of gray that are pretty much silver. Cashmere Silver Metallic, Donington Grey Metallic, Bernina Grey Amber Effect Metallic.

I'm used to common with silver lol. I've had white cars, but never a pearl white car so that would be a change.

Yeah I'm not worried about the white. I do have kids obviously but they rarely ride in my car, and when they do they don't eat in it.

Thanks for that, I will check out CR;s review.

Cashmere is really a beige/gold, Donington you can only get with the M sport package, and its more grey than silver. Bermina grey is the color I mentioned with the strange orange flake. They don't offer the car in a normal "silver" color.

Yeah thats my concern about the graphite, maintaining it.

I definitely find the 7 Series to be much more attractive than the S Class. Good choice.

Thanks!

Here is a picture of the Bermina Grey. Its a little strange, you can kind of see the orange pearl flake by the headlight

Between those two choices, it’s tough. Both combos look great. I’m a fan of pearl white with brown interior which is what I had on my old GX and white hides imperfections so well. With the dark grey, the 7 looks a little sportier to me. I’m struggling with a pick but will say get the dark grey and light interior. Can’t go wrong either way.

I just looked at a white 540i last month. BMWs wear white very well.

They also have good whites. On the S560 they have Designo Diamond White which looks very "bone" colored which I don't like. They don't offer the S Class in any white but that. Both the BMW Alpine White (pure white) and Mineral White (pearl white) I like.

The Mineral White and Bernina look very good in those pictures. It looks like the Bernina in the pic has Cognac leather seats. What do you think of that combination?

It does. I like that combo. I also saw a Bermina one in person that had the white interior and it was very sharp. I really need to try and see some in person but dealers stock so few 7 Series it makes it tough
