I have a deal on the table for an S560 myself. Debating.

How was your deal to negotiate? I have been surprised that MB dealers aren’t very quick to discount the S Class. I was getting like $6k off offers on $125,000 S560s, it was a joke. Finally got to where I wanted to be but they just throw money at you at BMW and Audi...

I would think that car would be even harder to swing a deal on as they don’t sit like S Classes. I wouldn’t think anyways.

 

I shopped for a s class before I got the LS at the end of 2018. The best I could get was about 9% off but the lease payment was kinda high for me at the time. I got 20% off on the LS. Kind of hard to pass up 20%. For the GT I got 13k off. I contacted 2 other dealers. One didn't respond and the other was only willing to give a few thousand discount.

I agree mercedes dealers aren't as willing to negotiate as most other brands. Maybe most mercedes shoppers don't care about getting a discount because of the prestige of the brand?

​​​​​​If you don't mind waiting, you might be able to get a bigger discount once the w223 hit the lots.

The deal I have works, but it’s not
local. Im out of town and once I get back I will see if I can get someone local to do it.

Waiting is no problem, only issue is inventory is a challenge.

Enjoy that car! It’s a special one. How’s the ride compared to the LS500?

 

What I just ordered certainly can't compare to an S560, but I hope your deal works out for you.

 

It's considerably stiffer and noisier but that's to be expected with a sports car. I was scared it would be too stiff but it's manageable. I keep the suspension in comfort.
