Nissan Ariya
really? even with the recent price cut from Tesla and the 7500 tax credit? An AWD version of Ariya will certainly be more expensive than a Long Range Model Y after you factor in the dealer markups on Ariya and lack of 7500 tax credit. all that with 3/4 of model Y's range and half of the acceleration and i didn't even bring up the Tesla supercharging network. i'm not a Tesla fanboy, before the tax credit and price cut, i agree, there are much better EV options out there over Tesla, but now if those in the market still willing to pay markup for a non-Tesla EV, then i'll just label them as Tesla haters, no offense.

Funny this thread came up. I had the opportunity to test drive the Ariya at a local dealer.
It was my first time driving an EV so I have no other point of reference, but I felt the overall handling was really good. Drove much like a lifted car for me. The FWD isn't a performance vehicle, but surprisingly very good handling given that it was a FWD vehicle. Apparently Nissan has a near 50:50 balance on the Ariya which contributes to this. Pick up was good in Sport mode, but a little sluggish in Eco/Normal modes. You have the power you need for daily driving, commuting, and getting from A-to-B. The more I drove it, the more I wanted to drive. Very quiet, comfortable, and great visibility. Unfortunately, only the FWD models are available at the moment. AWD isn't due until May-June according to one dealer I spoke with.
