As my girlfriend and I are looking for a replacement for her 2001 C320. We went over a few options and finally decide to look at two cars, GX and X5. We went to the lexus dealer (the dealer where I got my SC and GS) for a test drive. what we got is again, very nice service and everything else you would expect from a Lexus dealer especially I express to him that I am not going to get the car right now but just want to see the price and how we feel about the car. We head to Shelly BMW in Buena Park and try to test drive the X5. First, the a$$ salesman took us to see the car we don't want and when I told him that I just want to see how the car drive and want to know the asking price. He said, "okay that's it, have a nice day". I was %^&*&%^ What the Fxxk is this?? Excuse me, we are shopping for a 50K+ car and we can't even test drive it? and so what if we are not buying it today? we can alwasy return to get the car once we decide if X5 is what we want. Anyways, we are pretty much decide the GX and I think if BMW and MB people don't change their attitude, they will be run over by the growing Lexus fan!!

 

Call and ask to speak to the dealer's general manager and politely explain what happened. If he gives you the same attitude, shop elsewhere.

 

Thanks but no thanks... I think once is enough. although this might be an isolated incident, regardless, BMW and MB salesman always have attitude problem. I already made a complaint to the Shelly BMW and BMW headquarter via email.
