This is the car that had that interior, that design was pretty interesting but kind of too futuristic and not really looking like a S class, still way nicer then what we are seeing, I was hoping they would incorporate some of that concept exterior design in the new S class and leave out most of that sci fi interior, still that concept interior while not that luxurious looking looks much nicer then the bland barren dull production interior from the photos.

MB is getting lazy, but that seems to be the trend with German car companies. How can anyone possibly sign off on the S Class that looks like a stretched E class and a poorly done one at that.

The rear made me think Infiniti immediately. This could be a great chance for the LS to increase in sales. Lexus needs to jump on this opportunity. That being said, the S-class could be the ugliest car on the road and people would still scoop them up just due to the prestige. This will appeal to the younger buyers - a lot more wealthy 20 and 30yr olds these days thanks to tech, so will still sell well.

There will be two variants of S-Class for the next generation. The first is the traditional internal combustion engine car, which is the car being shown in leaked photographs in this thread. The second variation of S-Class will be an all-electric "EQS" that is styled like the concept shown above. Here are spy photos of the EQS in development.

Sadly I would not be surprised if that is what they did, make the IC version so undesirable or bland so the electric has a chance of selling. Buyers don't buy hybrids or electrics unless it is a Prius or Tesla so I think automakers are getting more desperate to try to get sales from them considering all the money they have to spend on them which sucks for the consumer, they may either eliminate the IC version all together or possibly make the IC version so bad that the electric/hybrid may seem to be not as bad a choice.

I'd wait for the full reveal. Nothing is really glaringly obvious here. These teasers are just planned PR leaks. But looking at the back end... not good. They went with the wrong taillight treatment. The W222 looks great from all angles. This new car is going to be wrong, if that's what it looks like. The interior looks more like a pre-production mule that's mocked up.

It really looks like the new Genesis G80.
