I heard many s classes are being sold without the amazing ambient lighting too because of the chip shortage...

Congrats LexRuger, the car is a beauty, i'm sure in a few weeks I will see quite a bunch out here in Long Island as people start to pick up their cars.
Went by and looked at them today, dealer is closed so couldnt get inside, but they have several that aren't spoken for, snapped some pics.
I will say that in person, the interior screens don't bother me like they do in pictures and the gauge screen looks better integrated than it does in pictures. Interior looks VERY nice, the different interior trims also look good and there are more color options than before which is good. A nice saddle brown, a red color which was sharp actually.
I was surprised to see all of them were on Hankook tires.
So, what I'm not sold on is the exterior. It just doesn't draw me the way the W222 always has. Whenever I would see a W222, I always just wanted it, this car just doesn't do that to me. Its more generic looking outside, and just doesn't look as grand...we'll see how I feel as it wears on me some.
Would I get one when the lease is up on my W222? I would definitely consider it, but I don't look at it and say "thats my next car" like I always did with the W222...does that make sense?
I still think it was a major mistake not to offer this with the Hyperscreen. It might not be the most intuitive interface but it's far better than the haphazardly glued-on screens.
