Wut? The X3M does 0-60 in the mid 3 second range. It's faster than anything Lexus has ever made. Lol.
Not when the road turns. We have lots of wonderful touge's around, and those morbidly obese things on highheels are struggling so much through them it's actually fun to watch. Last year, one sucked itself on my rear bumper... don't know what he was thinking, he probably had one of those "I'm Ayerton Senna" moment. Problem is... on the """straights"""", I'm always driving the allowed speeds of 80 kph, but I don't need to brake a lot in the complex curve layouts. The dude followed me and he ejected himself from the road after the first couple of curves.
(Edit : for the record I must agree that he had a "sport" range rover. FVR or something like that (difficult to read after the metal is bend so much) ).

Have you ever driven an X3M? Your thinking is out of date. These vehicles are really just slightly taller cars, and they can out handle many sedans.

Yeah. These performance SUVs are only slightly worse than their car counterparts but offer far more practicality. Very impressive machines. X3M, Stelvio, Y Performance and AMGs are another breed of SUV.

Sounds more like driver error than the fault of the machine. As noted by many, performance SUV's today can nearly defy the laws of physics, in the right experienced hands. X3 M has been rated with lateral grip upwards of .97g, that's more than even RC F or LC 500.

Lateral grip is just a measure of how sticky the tires are and how wide. Handling prowess is probably better measured with a slalom or figure 8. The X3M comes with some really big fat tires giving it ultimate grip. I wouldn't be surprised if it beat an LC500 on the track though
Congrats! As much as I hate to admit it, I like the X3 M. I'd take it over the X4 M for sure. Small SUVs can be a lot of fun - practical yet good to drive. Curious what those mods will be!

Why do you constantly poo poo everything? Go enjoy the Alps and whatever else Switzerland has to offer, lighten up.

Agreed, just couldn't quickly find the slalom or figure 8 #'s.
