Default CARTREATS.COM = SCAMMER - full info in thread

Long post ahead, this has been a nightmare for me, finally over now. (edited to remove cell phone number, as per moderator request)

CARTREATS.COM is a scammer.

https://cartreats.com/

AKA CARTREATZ / CAR TREATS

I ordered the CARTREATS LEXUS ISF mid-pipe on 22-NOVEMBER-2019. The owner at CarTreats (Jerry or Gerry, don't know spelling) kept lying to me, tried to scam me out of my money, and I had to file a charge back refund from my credit card in order for me to get my money back.

He is located in New York City, USA. He uses 2 telephone numbers: 718-597-2333 from his website, and he has a cell phone that forwards from his website number to his own. I have removed his cell phone number as per moderator request.

I have attached screen shots of my original order from 22-NOV-2019, the web page, and the text message history between myself and the scammer CARTREATS

When I ordered on 22-NOV-2019, his first excuse was that he wasn't aware that his manufacturer moved to a different state (from Arizona to North Carolina) He didn't tell me until 11-DEC-2019

I asked for a refund on 18-DEC-2019 but he didn't reply to me. I didn't message during the holidays because I figured everyone is busy during Xmas and New Years

I asked for a refund on 17-JAN-2020 and he said he is waiting for the tracking. I demanded a refund and I have phoned him repeatedly, but he talks for about 1 minute every time, and then hangs up on me

After several phone calls, he tells me that his manufacturer needs a minimum of 5 pieces to be ordered before they will make the IS-F mid pipe. He never mentioned any of that before, ever.

Then the next lie, he tells me is on the road on a business trip. I tell him that I want a refund via e-transfer back.

The next time I phone him, he tells me he is in court, for Jury Duty. This is in FEB 2020

At this time, I have already gotten fed up and gone to my credit card company for the refund. The credit card company starts the process, but needs to wait 30 days from the vendor (Car Treats) for a response back is case the seller wants to dispute this.

CARTREATS Jerry, afterwards continued to lie in saying that the refund is in progress, and then refused to answer text messages back, and refused to pick up the phone, and also refused to give me an e-transfer of money back.

I finally got my money back, from my credit card company, today, 28-MARCH-2020. Finally end of a long nightmare

I don't want anyone else to ever experience this. CARTREATS.com (Jerry / Gerry) is a scammer and please let other people know, so they won't get scammed by him

This organization is not BBB-accredited. It also has a list of former customer complaints.

Probably trying to do text and drive at the the same time, just like many other people.
