from the video thumbnail, the new Elentra looks bigger. Nice competitor to the Corolla and Civic

I`m gonna expect the base model to be quite ugly, but the upper trims with wheels, ground effects, and different trim pieces looks good.

The interior looks like tech heaven, curved screens with wireless connectivity.

Solid compact sedan

Exterior is ugly. Interior is nice.

I feel like Hyundai is going the route of Acura in 2006 with the TL. They had 2 nice designs segments then they went to the extreme with the redesign.

2012-2016 was great. They redesigned it in 2016 and kicked it up a notch and the mid cycle of the 2019 went to hell.

Horrifically over-styled. Way too many angles, triangles, themes, and sharp edges on the outside. The hatchback look is weak and feminine. The d-pillar is a disaster. They were clearly going after the Civic, but made it even worse.

Interior is a direct rip of any modern Mercedes with the square, video game dash. Even the gauges are Mercedes. 50% of the lower center console structure is missing.

Very disappointing. This is even worse than the bass-mouth Sonata.

I will wait till I see it in person but in these pictures it looks too radical for me, car designs are just not as attractive to me as before. Although I must say the new Nissan Sentra or VW Jetta in the compact segment looks best to me.

Well, I guess if you're going to make an econobox to sell to 18 year olds, might as well go all the way making it look as angry as possible. At the very least it doesn't have the ridiculous Civic boy racer vents.

Did you get into an accident with a Korean car or something? You can't seem to contain your frothing hatred for them in any thread regardless of the model.

The interior looks nice and the exterior looks like origami.

The rear looks good. The front is bad. Interior looks well appointed

agreed - plastic wheel covers on this exterior design won't be pretty.

What in the Origami is going on with the side panels?! Not a good looking exterior design at all.Very nice interior pics! Love the design. Close up pics reveal the quality is no higher than anything else in class in my opinion. But that isnt a bad thing. All the tech features at this price point is incredible.
