The added visibility makes up for no cluster directly in front, for many people anyway. HUD would be ideal and probably not expensive coming from Tesla since tech is their thing. But Elon likes to do things in a very specific way.

The Car is Ugly

 

Oh I thought Model Y was a SUV..
so it’s like a 3/5 series GT.. a Toyota Matrix type of a car. Great utility, ugly looks.

 

Its an SUV. Its almost 7 inches higher than the Model 3. Only a couple inches shorter than the Model X.

 

I think all SUVs are ugly, what do you consider a good looking SUV?

it might be 7 inches taller, but only 1 inch more ground clearance than the model 3, which makes it worse for looks.

its about 1.5 inches less clearance than an Audi Q5.

The only one I think is okay is the XC60 the rest are hideous for various reasons including massively over styled. And the looks will age very poorly.

 

Well looks are subjective. IMO Tesla model 3 and Y in addition to being ugly looks dated before they were even released. The Model S was meh. I do somewhat like the Model X though.

I am shocked someone can call the RR sport "massively overstyled".

 

My personal take on the "SUV" is that Tesla doesnt make any. They make Crossovers, and with the trend these days to bring those drags coefficients to a bare minimum have made alot of previous gen crossovers tall wagons in the their current form. the model Y and X follow suit but with a much more eggish shape.
