I have actually found FCA to be great with warranty repairs. The vehicle is garbage, but they always fix it and never try and weasel out.

Do you deal with the Chantilly shop where you leased it..or use the closest shop in MD? When I was at one of the MD shops (Gaithersburg, I think, but I don't remember exactly) shopping with a colleague (actually the Union-Local President in my Federal office), even the then-Service Manager (who was in position to know) said, off the record of course, that one was rolling the dice not only on the vehicles but also on the factory flat-out-refusing to cover even legitimate warranty cases.

No, Chantilly is too far. I use Darcars in Rockville. They serviced my Jeeps too, same guy.

IMHO, FCA is easier to deal with warranty wise than Lexus.

I've also, personally, had numerous issues with new Chrysler products (even in the first year of ownership), but won't list them here because, in all fairness, that was too long ago to be relevant to what is happening today.

Back to the Buick warranty, seems like GMC and Chevy is giving fleet-buyers 5/100 coverage on the drivetrain for 2020, but not Buick.....perhaps (?) because Buick, being all-SUV now, generally doesn't do fleet sales.

Gm's marketing decisions lead to the UAW strike? ok i'll bite, why or how?

LSCurtis, sad tale about your pickup experience, but that was 18 years ago. Things can and do change. Millions of Silverado and GMC truck owners seem pretty darned satisfied.

Because GM chose to stop marketing sedans which is why nobody buys them and why GM has to close plants which led to the UAW strike. You know it’s coming lol

I lease one vehicle and buy my second vehicle. I love getting a new vehicle every 3 years with new tech etc. Add in warranty, less maintenance, less OCD, no Carfax hit if in an accident.
Like buying, you negotiate a buy number and put down the least you can.

As far as Buick going from 4 years to 3 in warranty, I guess GM doesn't feel Buick is Tier 2 luxury anymore.

No offense, (and I don't mean to be rude by saying this) but if you don't know by now, I'm not going to go into any more time explaining...at least in this thread. There have been numerous threads on this subject.....some of which you yourself closed.

You're correct...it isn't. The Enclave is the only product they still have left that is anywhere near what one would call a luxury vehicle.....and, then, probably borderline, although the Encore is considered upscale for its class.
