Scotty Kilmer on difficult BMW repairs.
Way overblown. Like the comments Jill posted, removing the cover doesn't take long at all, and spending an extra 3-4 minutes removing the cabin air filter cowling provides direct access to the back two cylinders. That alone would cut out at least 2 minutes of the video where he's explaining the combination of extensions he needs to progressively assemble to get the sparkplug out.
But I suppose providing knowledge common to anyone who'd ever actually worked on these cars wouldn't be nearly as entertaining to folks looking for his silly rants. He would get way less views on "Look how easy it is to change a coil and sparkplug on a BMW". And it is, compared to say, an odd-numbered cylinder on a Toyota or Lexus (that he specifically mentions in this video as being easier) with the transverse V6. Those require removing the windshield cowling and the intake manifold, and are still a pain to get to even once you've done that.

I didn't realize that AoA's numbers have declined. It might be a good opportunity for him to make some revisions to his presentations.
As someone pointed out his video titles are click bait based, just another YouTuber clamoring for views. I find him annoying but guess it makes for good entertainment. I've only ever clicked on one of his videos. Refuse to click on the one posted here.
I started a thread a while back about AoA. He started a new subscription thing for his info. Alex at one time used to get like 500K for some videos, now he is in the 5-10K average.

I routinely look at views on YouTuber's videos and I actually don't see this decline. AoA never got 500k views on regular uploads, perhaps on very popular older uploads he may have 500k views, but 5-15k views on a new video is very typical for him and always has been.
Not to derail this thread, but his numbers still look pretty good to me: https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/ttacvideo

Right, he'll pan NEW Toyotas. He hates new cars, likes 15+ year old Toyotas and Lexuses, but not nice Lexuses and nothing with a V8 because they "cost more to repair" which makes zero sense, especially the 4.0 and 4.3 V8s which are some of the most reliable engines ever made.
He looks at cars like appliances, its all about what lasts the longest and costs the least.

I'd read somewhere that changing rear plugs on a V6 Lexus RX was actually pretty easy if you didn't follow the official procedure but instead took off the wiper assembly and a few other things.
And by the way, how much money can a person make from folks clicking on his YouTube video? I have a neighbor who has/had a goose named Kyle and he told me the reason he kept making videos of the goose was because of the money.
