I also loved this news report about Al Franken's new book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right", satirizing Fox News Channel's credibility. This book will no doubt neutralize that idiot Ann Coulter's anti-left books (which were happily overshadowed by Hillary's book, lol). Funny thing is that Fox's lawsuit will bring this book more publicity than it would have ever received without it.

I just saw this on the news about an hour ago... it just brought a big smile to my face. It was also great when the next story they did was on the rising gas prices. I especially enjoyed the interviews with all those great intellectuals whining about how the gas prices are highway robbery while they fill up their Excursions and Suburbans. God I wish Darwin could have been correct.

That lawsuit by Fox is ridiculous, it seems that they can't take the heat.

In regards to ELF, I agree with their stance on SUVs, but causing destruction in the name of the environment just doesn't jive. To me, these types of acts closes peoples' ears to what they have to say.

 

Blowing up some guys dealership is no different than a lunatic blowing yours own cars up in your driveway whos to say someone or some kids are not looking at cars in the middle of the night, you could kill them, maybe if the raisins on the west coast grew some ***** and broke some legs and put an end to this so call ELF organization which nobody belongs to but excist, WTF is that about.

You just answered your own question. They rarely get caught b/c it is not an organized group. The people who do the destruction work in small groups and don't report to a central office. That way there is no way to track anything. When an event occurs, someone anonymously, and proably from a public compute, emails the site admin. so they can send out a release.

Anwway, I don't condone violence, but the naughty side of myself has to give a little smirk when I see stuff like this. I've subscribed to their email releases for about the last 6 months (now watch me get tagged by the Patriot Act empowered FBI ) just to keep up on the news. I just hope nobody ever gets hurt from this.
I'd have to say Hummers are my personal favorite vehicles to hate too though.
I also like how the rated in the JD Power reliability tests. They have like 5 problems for every car compared to Lexus who had something like 1 problem for every xx car.
So...not only does it guzzle gas, pollute like crazy, look ugly, and cost too much, it is unreliable.

 

I don't like SUV's, but seeing what the ELF does makes me want to buy a H2 and pull the cats off of it

 

SUV's run more efficient and pollute less when not set on fire.

 

also...i think these people vandalized a few cars that were not in dealerships. i saw on the news, one older suv that was tagged up and it was parked on the street in duarte! can't these people respect property that doesn't belong to them? i have no respect for these fools.

I agree with you, I do not like the fugly H2 either but, this is a very dangerous stunt by a bunch of cowards, yes I said cowards whom hides behind a name of a group to take responsiblity for his actions. Be a fuc@ing man and turn yourself in and get your 15 min of fame then get escorted off to jail and be someones biatch for a while. This is why I pay sooo much for insurance........

 

Whatever your stance is on this issue, it amazes me that some of you guys are actually "tickled" to see something like this happen.

We had ELF torch new houses that were being built here in Long Island a few years ago. Response was to rebuild. Kind of defeated their purpose. These guys are no better than terrorists imo.
