So it should NOT be called a Corvette? Is that what you are saying. Maybe call it a Chevrarri ?
Why all the HATE?
This is an amazing achievement for any carmaker let alone American made Chevy!
This car is mid-engined supercar with a NA V8, 8speed DCT, amazing high tech interior and ability to customize the car in million different ways.
This car literally is a GAME changer for sports cars.
I’m beyond impressed with it and the engineering achievements relative to the cost.

I don't have any hate. I think the name Corvette is fitting.
It's a new breed, it's gonna be the highest selling Vette in history...get over it.
reality much? Vettes have never been exclusive or rare. Since they C5 they build over 30k units a year on average for the most part. Dont kid yourself thinking this is going to be some exclusive limited car. You will see tons of these things on the road in a couple years. They still built almost 35k of them in the 2019 MY, the year that everyone knew the new mid engine was coming.
nothing new, every generation of vette has outsold the previous.
My comment that vettes are a dime a dozen gets dismissed as hate, when its a well known fact even just looking at raw production numbers. How many vettes do you see everyday? Several. But you know thats just hate that you see several of them a day right?
Well the Viper is sure "exclusive" ....translation is...they didn't sell worth a crap - that's why it was cancelled, so as Bit suggested, any true enthusiast should celebrate the 2020 C8 and its popularity.
imagine the thrill of being able to unwrap your brand new C8
or perhaps a true enthusiast would wait until the thing actually proves itself before acting likes its the second coming of Christ. GM doesnt exactly have the best track record in its most recent redesigns.
ok guys, enough of who's hating what. enthusiasts should celebrate a great car like this even if you'd never consider one.

4TehNguyen, you have repeatedly expressed your negative opinion, folks get it. Let’s move on.
