What weight? I imagine they're using the existing sensors that detect if you have it buckled or not with some programming to lock the car out for 20 seconds if it's not buckled. One of the pros of how computer controlled cars are today is simple little things like this that adds extra functionality for things we've used forever.

hey man all those 1s and 0s add up lol... but yea i was gonna say what device? it's a simple software feature not some extra mechanical device
