someone with a Tesla can correct me if Im wrong, but you can put an adapter on a Tesla to charge at any charging station. However, obviously no non Tesla can use the supercharger network. I think this is fair.

that's correct, but i believe with tesla near bankruptcy, they'll compromise to make money from their charger network.

If there is no single charger standard, this model is not sustainable, unless a single company just monopolizes the market.

From what I understand, if you carry an adaptor you can charge any car from a regular outlet, but it's going to be painfully slow.

There is a standard, all other car makers use the standard.

I also just saw this video in the morning and thought of this thread. Lories, garbage trucks, delivery trucks all being converted to low carbon vehicles either by making them electric of hybrid with hydrogen. Very interesting.

You can have private high tech solutions without the stranglehold of insane government regulations (like banning engines).

Hyperloop is a great example.

i bought my Viper from LA couple years ago, i always joked that I rescued the car. With stupid proposals like this and the aftermarket exhaust laws there now, I truly did rescue the car.
