I feel like this A4 just came out and it has a mid cycle already. Interesting that they removed the MMI so I guess its only touch screen, but not the dual screen set up. Still, I like the rear of this car.

Should have been a full redesign. Current car has been out long enough.
Rear tail features are cleaned up nicely. Front styling moves more generic and Ford. But the abbreviated character line that disappears in the middle of the car, then reappears at a lower level, is one of the worst design features I've seen. Audi is a frustrating company to love.

Genesis should be flattered, Audi was always out ahead with LEDs, and now they copy someone else! Korean car mfgs. have come a super long way. One day they may be doing what Lexus did to the Germans, to Lexus!

Are you saying you think this new a4 ‘copied’ the G70? If so, that’s absurd. And car makers simply don’t ‘copy’ because the lead times for product life cycles are so huge. Any maker that copied would release a car design several years out of date.

I was watching the game an an ad for the GLI played, so I looked it up. VW still has the fun mentality and sticks available, but holy 1990's. The GLI has solid rear discs. And based on 3 relatives' experience with VW, the warranty is useless (unless you enjoy being told not covered under a full warranty, being made to pay, then getting your money back after a class action). I won't go as far as boycotting VW products as I haven't written off Porsche just yet, I will soon, but just not yet lol

Ugh, they doubled down on that nasty ipad screen by making it larger. No thanks.
The new A6, A7 and A8 have jettisoned the afterthought screens for a cleaner look.
