having to add equipment to use energy to cool it directly affects the range. Range is a major issue because you cannot refuel quickly. You cant even use liquid cooling easily because you do not want liquid flowing directly next to a high voltage battery and air cooling has its limits. Its another problem for Tesla because it's body isnt designed with intake vents in mind. Tesla would win races if races were 2-3 laps long, but they arent.

you're greatly exaggerating...

doesn't sound like they did 2-3 laps and retired....cuz they didn't

After an entire morning of track laps and hooning around Lime Rock's autocross and skidpad, our two Model 3s each had less than 40 miles of battery range left.
