True, I remember you were explaining something about that. It's very unfortunate. Mazda has some truly excellent engineering and I always wish the best for them. I'm very excited to see SKYACTIV-X come to Canada. Maybe it will help pick sales up again because this tech is selling very well over in europe.

also, Mazda still has time to perfect their volume seller, the CX-5 so I still have hope for the brand. They have made huge strides with innovation ever since they split from Ford.

Same situation with the Lexus LFA where Toyota intentionally lost tons and tons of money just to prove they are capable.

theres a very obvious reason why Mazdaspeed was axed several years back. It's not a volume seller.
Not every company is built on the same premise. Mazda following Toyota and Honda is a doomed path forward. Their unique value proposition was sport and the last Mazda 3 did very well on that premise. Its sportier than the Corolla and Civic. My point is that going away from this premise is hurting them. Mazdaspeed would be a good start to getting back to what made them successful. We can agree to disagree if you don't share my point of view.

Mazda is rebranding to become a "luxury brand." I guess they think the 30 looks more expensive?

Mazda has unlimited warranty km in Canada. Didn’t sway me when I tried out the 3. Was too sporty for me. Quality was nice. Made in Japan too

No I see what you're saying. But bottom line if we consumers actually bought Mazdaspeeds instead of talking about them Mazda wouldn't of had any reason to axe the lineup.

I should definitely try test driving one. I know Mazda is good at balancing sport with comfort but the previous generation Mazda 3 definitely had firmer suspension and better body control than my 6. My 6 still has great handling but the suspension has more play in it and seems to be better tuned for a nice highway ride. Would be interesting if you test drove a 6 and left your impressions. All around they are fantastic vehicles.
