Default 2020 Lincoln Corsair

Ready to replace the MKC, it's shaping up to be a baby Aviator

The shots we get to see here show that this won't even come close to resembling its redesigned Escape sibling on the inside. Instead, we're feeling Navigator and Aviator vibes all over.

HUGE upgrade from the 2019 MKC interior

Lincoln is really surprising right now. This won't get a vehicle for me, but that interior looks legit!

Also, so refreshing to see a luxury brand use names! I love the names represent yachting ( in this case, a pirate ship) and aviation. The themed interior packages play off of this too. So cool.

Will names really make a difference in sales or perceptions? We shall see. If it does not work. They will abandon names again. I do kinda like the names IMO.

Are you talking about the new Corsair or the previous MKC?

I really liked the MKC. (Remember my PM on it)? For a time, it was my favorite SUV. I was seriously tempted to buy one (even without Lincoln's paid-promotion-Mastercard test-drives LOL). But, at the time, the rather poor quality control (too many weak or loosely-attached parts, and a general feeling of sloppiness in the assembly), and the fact that Lincoln dropped what I thought was its best paint color (the purple Tahitian Pearl Metallic) stopped me. Ended up, of course, with a Lacrosse instead.

Lincoln is definitely kicking it up a notch with a true distinction between it and it's Ford counterparts. A new NX can't com

They went with the tablet tack on, awful. Push button trans is a loser for me. Corsair, really? It reminds me of the WW2 navy plane, why name your car after that?

The term Corsair had its original meaning in a pirate, or pirate ship. Vehicles have been named after ships before...two that readily come to mind are the Chrysler PT Cruiser and Chevrolet Corvette.

I actually really like the new look of the Navigator and Aviator dash. Materials are superb and better than that of Lexus IMO of those two I just mentioned. The push button dash is better in the new models than the older style.

gotta love Lincoln going back to real names again especially with a naval/aviation theme: Corsair, Nautilus, Navigator, Aviator

The Lincoln Continental interior is very nice for the price point.
