I don't know how you became to be this misinformed that the LC is underpowered but in this segment, the LC500 is not considered underpowered.
The 2019 S Class coupe, a TT v8 and segment competitor that costs $30k more at base is only 463, compared to LC's 471 and they're both rated at 4.5 second 0-60.
In this segment and price range, only the Jaguar F-Type and BMW 8 Series (which just came out) has more HP than the LC.

Oh please the LC is not at the level of the S class coupe. I would say it is more of a BMW 8 series competitor.
