Even the most luxurious of cars is not exempt from some VIP treatment.

OK, there's a lot going on here, but that engine cover is huge... Is that stock? Because it's kind of wild, and I didn't think that VIP builds got that involved under the hood...

We need to get the Century imported here to the American market.....or, better yet, simply built here so it will be exempt from tariffs. IMO, for a number of reasons, it is the most sensibly-designed sedan Toyota produces.

Don't get me wrong, I think these are amazing cars... But do you think Americans would actually go for them? To the point where it would make sense to federalize them, etc? I just don't know how sensible our market is, given that every time gas prices dip, people run out and buy giant trucks. Ha ha!

Right now, obviously, the big craze is crossover SUVs. But the Century would probably appeal to some people, like me, who think a sedan should actually LOOK like a sedan instead of a coupe. I also like the Century's non-leather/vinyl wool-covered seats. I was a big fan of the brocade/velour seats and door panels of the 1970s, but not of the peep-hole opera windows that often went with them LOL.

That's because many people simply have knee-jerk reactions, and don't think about the future.
