I agree.
Normally, I HATE ragtops, but this doesn't look too bad.
I wonder why they went with ragtops instead of the hardtops....price, better execution/design in the trunk area ?
Yes, all that with space saving + less weight, the newest ragtops are supposedly so good that they make hard convertible tops no longer worth the compromise.
The three layer softtops on the AMG GT roadsters and S class cab's are reportedly so impressive that the next new SL would likely be a ragtop as well ...
Looks amazing!!! Curious why this didn't debut at the LA Auto Show since most of the LC convertible sales will be from California since we do have wonderful weather year round... It's great that Lexus is expanding the LC line. 8 Series, you've got some competition...
LC 500
LC 500h
LC 500 convertible
LC 500h convertible?
LC F (hopefully soon)
LC F convertible? (one can only dream)
Standard V8 is here to stay until the very end of the lifecycle. Promo video piece hypes up V8 sound so that's a definite answer there will not be any powertrain changes.

This is a shame. The V6TT in the LS500 would have outperformed the V8. This was another chance for them to bring the performance up to par or close to the competition across the LC lineup considering this will cost another 10-20k above the coupe. Sure it will sound great, but whatevs, Lexus dont care.
