Lexus LC Convertible Concept

What's there to think about, Lexus? The slinky LC coupe that has been on sale since 2017 still looks like a concept car that Lexus accidentally shipped to dealerships. This for-now hypothetical topless variant cranks up the visual wattage to electrocution levels. Like the hardtop LC, the topless convertible has a rakish stance and voluptuous body contours. A pair of bladelike flying buttresses flow from behind each rear headrest to the taillights, tamping down the visual height of the LC's booty. Even though the convertible's rear deck appears much longer than the coupe's stubby piece, the style works and is much better negotiated than the rear on its would-be competitor, the Mercedes-Benz SL-class.
Build it, Lexus. The wold can only be a better place with this on the street. BUILD IT!!!

Do it and build the portfolio. Then add an AWD variant.

only build it if they dont muck up the profile...
I would want to see this with the top up. If they screw it up, it confirms Lexus cannot build a convertible properly, and I dont have my hopes up from the ISC. lol

There is an LC convertible coming according to the owner of my local dealership. I’d expect it in the next 18 months.

I can almost guarantee that the profile won't look anywhere as good with the top up compared to the coupe, they almost never do for any coupe with a slant roof that I am aware of ..

"concept" looks production ready

I hope there's a mid cycle refresh for the coupe to go along with this. I really mean updated and more powerful engines. As it is, it is all bark and no bite and this will only bark louder and will barely lick with an extra couple of hundred pounds added to it.

Standard V8 is here to stay until the very end of the lifecycle. Promo video piece hypes up V8 sound so that's a definite answer there will not be any powertrain changes.

Gorgeous, even with the softtop.

VERY interested in picking up a used one in 3-4 years!

This is executed pretty good, but would love it so much more without that kink upwards right at the rear window. I dont know why MB and BMW have managed to create convertibles without this and Lexus cant.

Hmmm, not bad at all
