With a host of new and refreshed product introductions scheduled throughout 2019, Kia’s world-class model line-up will continue to lead the industry in design, quality, advanced technology and value.”

I am amazed that Volkswagen sells in such low numbers. I always assumed their sales were in the 1.5 million units

No news there. The Jeep nameplate has always been popular, reliable or not.

What is interesting IMO, is that Buick, in the American market, still outsells Cadillac, yet we keep hearing this doomsday talk of Buick being dropped from the American market as "Grandpa" brand that isn't competitive.

The diesel-emissions scandal received a enormous amount of publicity, over a very long time....with some VW and Audi officials even being arrested....though, still, somehow, Ferdanand Piech, who probably started the whole thing, has managed to avoid being picked up by the police. Still, you can't have that kind of intense negative publicity, that long, without sales being affected.

Perhaps it would be best to merge the threads. This one seems redundant.
