How do I participate in Toyotathon?
Welcome to CL.

Toyotathon is usually (but not always) an end-of-year marketing campaign, to stimulate sales, during a period when many consumers are shopping for other holiday gifts rather than new vehicles. Different manufacturers market it in different ways (and use different terms to describe it), but essentially all of them are the same thing....to get you into showrooms with special sales/discounts. Typically, Lexus will call it "December to Remember", and adorn their new vehicles with large ribbons and Holiday bows. Also, part of it is because manufactures also give dealers special incentives themselves move as many vehicles out the door by the end of the month (or end of the year)....in other words, the more vehicles sold, the more bonuses the dealer gets from the manufacturer itself.
Not sure this is a troll. Some folks do have legitimate questions....even on something that seems simple or inane to us. I say reply courteously, and let the mods handle if they think it is trolling.

How am I trolling? What else can I do to show that I'm not?
I already have 3 Lexuses, I don't need any more. Besides, the ugly grilles will not make me ever consider a Lexus anymore, until they tone it down a bit like the 2012 Lexus GS. Lexus has the most ugliest grilles in the car market right now in my opinion, it's worse than Audi and Kia. At least Acura got in gear and changed their ugly beak grilles, now Lexus is the least attractive car on the market. Imagine if the LFA has those ugly grilles. Barf. I will only use December to Remember when Lexus started changing to their ugly grilles and ruined Lexus elegancy. At least they should've slapped those grilles on Scion first if they wanted to make a sports brand, because if I recall, Scion is aimed at younger audiences who want a sporty car. Lexus is a luxury brand like Mercedes, not a sports brand like Subaru.
