New BMW X1 Owner
I have the sport seats, and while I appreciate the extending thigh cushion, the seats are very hard and not that comfortable. I hear this are better than the standard seats so Ill take them. One thing my car is not optioned is the $300 rear seat adjustments...so I cannot fold the seats down from the trunk. I can't even believe that is an option.
I've had X1 loaners with and without the sport seats. There's no way I'd get one without them.
You must be relatively thin....or at least not very heavy. Classic sport seats are known for having high, firm, confining bolsters that are often uncomfortable for those of us who aren't built like Twiggy.
Congrats on the new ride!
Don't be too tore up about having Halogens instead of LEDs. BMW makes (or at least they used to) the best halogen projectors in the business. My E46 had Xenon low beams and Halogen brights, and flipping that lever was like turning the sun back on. The Bi-Xenons in my current E90 are not anywhere near that good.

RX is more of a full sized SUV. NX models looked at were used NX200t and recent NX300. X1 felt was more roomy. The sport seats are a nice touch.
