In my book, none of the newer Lexus ads can match the classic ones by James (Mr. Lexus) Sloyan and his soothing, butter-smooth voice. You've already posted a couple of them...the LS400 champagne-glass and the ES300 ball bearing.

Here's another one of Sloyan's classics.......I didn't see it on your list.

It was a real shame when he quit doing Lexus ads in 2009 and moved on to Mitsubishi (yes, Mitsubishi) ...but that was right around the time that Lexus was changing the character of their products, from tank-solid, soundproofed cocoons to cost-cutting and making the vehicles less vault-like. Perhaps (?) he felt he could no longer do those ads in good conscience.

Agreed that money often talks, but, with his long, well-paid career, both in acting and in making ads, I don't think he was exactly standing in the bread line.

Neither are head coaches and athletes, but they jump ship all the time for a few extra pennies

still my all time favorite Lexus commercial is the GS "Moments". Surprised that didn't make the cut.
