The President of Lexus Manila has given us something to think about.

I think Lexus would have a hit on their hands.

That looks pretty sweet tbh. Looks like an Asian market van though.

I think it would sell, but don't think Lexus would ever market it here. Doesn't fit with the brand image they're trying to convey.

I have already seen this car in Japan. It's probably a rebadge from some japanese market only van... Let's see...

.... found it, it's the Toyota Alphard.

Whatever, this is an incredibly comfortable machine. I see more and more rich peoples driving around in Vans, principally Mercedes vans. So it will not be stupid to offer an alternative. If I remember right, the Alphard is equipped with rear seats, that are in nothing inferior to the luxury class of passenger planes.

Its very common in south east asia. I have seen it in malaysia, singapore and philippines. I personally would buy a lexus van if it is available here.

The headlights look like when you cropped and moved the image a bit lower than the stock photo...

I'd never drive one, but why not? They already have the Vellfire/Alphard in Japan.

Has anyone been in an executive-spec V-Class? I had one take me to/from the airport recently. Really nice interior and super comfortable. No reason Lexus can't compete with MB in this segment.
