Until Lexus gets a turbo V-8, there will be a significant performance advantage to the 8 series. In expensive coupes, this could be a big reason to pick the 8.

Man, talk about overkill. I do agree though- at that price there is no reason to pick this over a 911, LC, or even the NSX. Unless you really want a behemoth BMW 2-door.
