The "2L" diesel/5 speed manual combo in the 1980's Hilux that they destroyed on Top Gear. Might have been the "2L-T" with a turbocharger, but that's a very simple mechanical fuel pump diesel. No electronics at all are required to run that engine. Atomic bomb goes off near by and the EMP fries all the electrical systems in newer cars. That truck will still start/run. Also the 5 speed manual, transfer case with a lever, hubs you have to get out of the truck and manually lock, all stone simple stupid stuff that doesn't break. Or if it does break you can fix this truck with a socket set, a screw driver, duct tape and some zip ties.
