The GS430 hands down. Same engine with minor tweaks from the previous generation GS (2001-2005). Its hard to find a low mileage 2006-2007 GS430 and even harder to find the rare GS460.

The 4.3L V8 is very smooth and reliable. Excellent power and decent gas mileage for its size. If you can find a GS430 with under 120k miles that would be your best bet.

+1 again on staying away from an IS250. I owned an IS350 AWD and it was a great ride - just outgrew it.

This blows my mind--first that the IS250 with 204 HP V6 is the same price as a GS430 with a V8, and second that the IS350 is $10K more than a GS430.

I know right. The prices here all over the place. I'm guessing it may be due to the the Is350 being sold in limited numbers in Australia? not sure about that though.

Putting exhaust on a V8 car will never make it sound like a Civic with a fart can.

The stock exhaust is extremely restrictive and weighs a ton usually compared to high quality aftermarket exhausts.

Not sure if your joking but most exhausts look just like stock with the tip just a bit larger diameter.
99% of ppl will not even notice it.

GS430 all the way. Styling, panache, and V8 a dying breed...
