To add a data point, you can absolutely add a Double DIN unit to the NC. I've got over $4500 of audio upgrades on my 2013 NC Club, including a beautifully fitted Double DIN headunit which added navigation, Apple CarPlay and more and which is fully integrated with the controls on my steering wheel.
