Love the idea but I'm not going to spend $400 to find out if it works properly.

I've seen that technology in home windows, but never in a tint. Wouldn't be for me on a car, but in a house they're great.

i didn't look carefully, but if you can't heat shrink this film, it's useless.
also, while it does block out a lot of light, I have not seen any kind of film be able to stop heat from getting in the car and making it an oven.
And it's CLEAR while driving? Nah, that defeats the purpose of tint.

There is a dimmer for you to control the darkness of the tint and it only goes clear when you push a button, its perfect for getting around NY states no window tint law.

From the video it looks more like a privacy/frosted glass (like in a home bathroom) than a tinted window. I guess useful if you don't want people to see whats inside your car and prevent a break in

I mean, just leave them untinted. The point of tint is basically that it looks good, why have ugly milky white tint just because "you want tint"?

if you use a dimmer, how is the clarity?
With regular tint, you can see through it perfectly clearly.
With a dimmer, it looks partially obstructed, like a fog. Not good.

My friend had this back in high school. I thought it was pretty cool but very pricey compared to regular tint.
