I have to agree. At least they were trying sumtn new. The pontiac Aztec was low key goat at its time.

Default 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Looks great in and out, GREAT feature set. Led headlights on all models. 3 different engines.
my guess is they're really gunning for Subaru with this...

"4 wheel motivation systems" LOL

Good review tho, and yes, worlds better than previous Cherokee.

Not really much of a fan of Jeep, but my thoughts are changing. Really liking the marketing lately. I like this Cherokee. I have no idea how long it would last vs a Toyota or a Honda, but it’s definitely much more interesting.

how long do you need it to last? my jeep is now 3 years old (no issues) and while the u.s. factory full warranty is only 3 years / 36k mi., i decided to get a 2 year extended warranty just in case. wasn't that expensive, but nice for piece of mind.

i figure after 5 years i'll be wanting something else if not sooner.

I like the idea of keeping trucks or SUVs 10+ years. 15 -20 for me is not is not out the question.

That's about when I usually get a new vehicle, too. Taking everything into account, with average yearly mileage, 5 years is usually a good compromise between depreciation, wear and tear, property-taxes on vehicles (we have them here in some VA counties), potential repairs, wanting the latest in vehicle-features, and something simply getting long in the tooth after awhile. In the first couple of years, of course, depreciation takes a big bite, and, really long-term, of course, you can start to get into problems with age-related stuff.

Whole front end looks new, hood headlights, fog lights, front bumper, lower grill and fenders are all different. Also who in the hell approved that design orignally??? Look at the picture on the right, the way the top light integrates into the fender, hood and bumper is a complete mess. That also looks like its a lot harder to manufacture and get all the body lines to line up right, the picture on the right.
